Steve James Sculptures on BBC’s To Build or Not to Build
A very proud moment in 2011 to see my Orbital water features appear on the BBC show "To Build or Not to Build" (series 2 episode 10)
This commission was for a couple who had an opulently designed self-build in the Pennine countryside. The house is in an elevated position overlooking rural views.
They wanted to create a sleek modern eye-catching focal point for their outdoor space which would be also enjoyed from inside their living area too.
The Orbital artwork was created into water features and incorporated led lights within the water spout. The prime positioning of the sculptures invites the viewer to look right through the artwork at the breathtaking panoramic views out in the distance.
