Take Care of the Lawn

It’s common that as the weather gets warmer, many people will be cutting their lawns for the first time in a while. Trimming the grass down large amounts at a time can stress the plants, giving your garden a buzzed look and allowing for more weeds to sprout up.

Cutting the grass once a week a small amount encourages the grass to grow and look fuller and greener. Not taking off as much can help the lawn's roots and make it look healthier.

Prune the Plants

February through March is the best time to prune after flowering. This helps to encourage growth and flowering on the rest of the plant, often leading to healthier-looking plants and flowers. Taking off damaged or dying branches and leaves can allow new buds to grow.

Make use of Mulch

The best time to mulch is in spring. Feeding your plants fertiliser helps to strengthen them against pests and improves their survival during hot and dry weather, as it moderates soil temperatures. It also helps the soil retain moisture so you won't need to water them as often.

Soil Care with Compost

Newer garden beds benefit from composting, it's great for making your soil fertile, increasing its health and retaining moisture and nutrients. Established garden beds can get away with using soil wetters and granules to help the soil soak in water and moisture.

Focal Point

You’ve freshened up your garden and it’s now ready for summer, but you want something new to add that finishing touch to your outdoor space. A stunning piece of outdoor artwork could be just what you're looking for to bring your garden together. Green foliage and colourful flowers provide the perfect backdrop for stainless steel sculptures and can be an excellent centrepiece for any garden.

If you’re after something a little special then a water feature makes an excellent focal point and could be the perfect addition that you’re looking for. Bringing peace, tranquillity and calmness to your outdoor living space in which to relax and enjoy.
